6 Months Home!
Wow! It is so hard to believe that as of February 26Th we have been back home in Michigan with our baby girl Taylor! It has been the best 6 months of our lives! The transition from Kaz to Michigan was fairly easy, and Taylor has been growing and maturing ever since!
When we first got home, Tay could not do anything but roll over. Soon she started army crawling and by Thanksgiving she was sitting on her own. Come Christmas she was officially crawling, and after the New Year she was walking. Now, we cant keep her still! She is doing amazing. Every day there is a new talent! Take today for instance... she has bent down and picked up items without any assistance, and she can stand up on her own (without using the couch or something for support)!
Taylor has gone from being the almost bald baby when we met her to having a full head of hair that is getting really long! She was about 8 lbs when we met her and as of her 15Th month check up she is 16.5 lbs! Incredible! She still stands very tiny, at only 27.25 inches, but hey, it suits her well! She will always be a tiny girl and the doctors say that she is staying "within her curve." So as long as she is healthy and happy so are we!
Her social skills have been improving as well. She now loves to be around other people, and especially other children. We joined Gymboree in November, but unfortunately they have closed as of this week. We are still in contact with her friends from there, so she will still get time with other children.
Life with Taylor has truly been a blessing. We have not only seen her grow, but have as well!
First full day at home: August 27Th 2007
