One Sheet of paperwork left!

So as of today we only need one more sheet of paperwork. And who would have guessed it but it is the most important one! All we are now waiting on is our revised I-171H (Petition to adopt an Orphan) from the US Immigration Office.

Once we have this we can get all the documents taken care of! And then we are in the official waiting period.

Tomorrow we are supposed to be getting the furniture for the babys room! We will post pictures as soon as the room has some more to it! We have purchased the bedding set and are currently awaiting its delivery. We also have some decorations that we have collected throughout the past few months. So all in all we are very excited to get the room together! Oh, and many thanks to Bethany for helping me paint the room! It is so bright and cheery!

I happened to see your post on adoption.com - we also changed countries after receiving our I-171H. Our facilitator contacted the embassy in the original country (Poland) and asked them to forward the visa on to the embassy in the new country (Armenia). There was no cost for this service and we received confirmation from the embassy in Armenia that the visa had arrived. The I-171H for our dossier said Poland, but it was accepted in Armenia, no problem. Best of luck to you!
