The Taylor Report - One Year Later

Hey everybody! It's your roving reporter, Taylor Van Sant, back again with the long anticipated Taylor Report. Since I reported to you last, a lot has happened in my life, and I am here to give you all an update. One year ago, back when I was just a little girl, I got to meet my Mommy and Daddy for the first time. That was July 5th, 2007. It has been a whole year! Here are some pictures to show how much I've grown:

THEN:

NOW:

It's hard to believe I was ever that small, especially considering how big I am now. So a lot has happened over the past year obviously, and I know my Mommy has been doing a great job of telling you all about it. So that I don't repeat anything you've already heard, I thought I would simply highlight the top 3 things that I have discovered in the past year.

NUMBER 1: EMBARRASSING YOURSELF PAYS OFF

Apparently all you have to do is put on a funny outfit, and big people will give you all kinds of candy! It's absolutely incredible! Go ahead and try it. You won't be disappointed.

NUMBER 2: OLD PEOPLE CAN BE KIND OF COOL

Sure they get on your case about eating all your vegetables, and make you wear stupid bibs, but they aren't so bad. I still can't quite understand why they want me to eat things that I don't want, but as soon as I put something cool in my mouth, like a lamp plug or a rock, they get all weirded out. It makes no sense. And sleep. Like I really need to sleep EVERY night. Who made up that rule anyway? All in all though, the big people can be pretty great too. They read me stories and take me swimming. And Ice Cream - well, that's enough for me to keep them around for a while! The whole love thing is pretty good too I guess.

NUMBER 3: DREAM BIG

No matter who you are, or where you come from, dreams really can come true. Don't let anyone ever tell you that you can't accomplish something. Even the smallest of creatures can move mountains when they put their mind to it (and I would know!). Living your life means living your dreams.

Pardon me for a moment while I wipe some drool off my chin.

Okay, I'm back. Hope that was inspiring for you.

Well, I guess that's about it. It's been fun writing again. To all my friends throughout the world, I wish you all the happiness that I have had so far. Just don't tell my Mom and Dad I am so happy. I am trying this new pouting to get what I want game. It's not working yet, but I'm sure I will wear them down at some point.

Love and kisses
Taylor

Tay,

So great to see you doing so well. I kinda-sorta remember you from back in the day, and of course the P's show me your blog from time to time, but until we really got to chill in Chi-town a few weeks back, you were just another of those 'oh yeah, I know her' sort of deals. Now I'm proud to call you a true bud.

Of course my folks have a history with yours that sort of connects us all in some crazy cosmic stuff, but all that aside, it has been great to know you and to watch you grow and develop so much under the love and support of your terrific parents(ooh - I sound like my dad!).

Anywho, take care Chica. Hopefully we'll get to hang again next summer in Nashvegas.

Lots O' Love,
Tougy

Oops I goofed and sent it 3 times, so yeah that was me that deleted the other 2 above.

Oh come on, like this is the worst thing a 15 month old can do. You all know better than that. Give a kid a break.

Love the update Tay. It was just as good as last years. You are too funny. I know you get that from your mama. Great to see updates on how you're doing.
