D*mn the internet
Well, this is the first time we have been able to get on the internet since Sunday night, and its dial up at that. Unfortunately, we aren't able to post any pics due to the crappy connection.
In addition to that, the last two days have been a bit of a pain. Apparently the inspections at the baby house will be going on for a while. On Monday, we did not get to go until 6pm, which was only after an entire day of having the time switched back and forth on us. Today was even worse. We were supposed to go at 6pm again. Then it was switched to 2pm. Then we were told that we couldn't go in. We ended up getting to spend some time with Taylor, but it was a big pain to get to that point. We will be so happy when we can take her out of there and spend time with her everyday, all day.
Don't fret for us though. We are still making the most of it. Today we had movie night for the girls, and basketball for the guys. Maegan and the ladies enjoyed a nice chick flick - Music & Lyrics. Mike, Peter, and I played 3 on 3 basketball against some of the local guys, all of whom were in their late teens / early twenties. We beat them the first game, and then old age caught up with us, but we were just happy to score a victory, especially considering that at least two of them were almost as tall as I am.
We are having the internet people out to the apartment tomorrow to try to figure out why we haven't been able to get online. Hopefully they will fix the problem, however we have not been overly pleased with them up to this point, so there are no guarantees.

Well thats ok, you can make up the pictures on the next blog. And thats what you get for using dial-up. HaHa. Oh well at least we can still hear from you. I am glad things are going ok. Can't wait for you to come home. I know everyone here misses you guys so much. And I miss my bestfriend so much, I need her help and of course shes not here. But anyways, I will let you get back to sleep. Chat more in the next blog.

Sounds like you have hit a bit of the governemnt snafu..it was bound to happen sooner or later but it seems like you are handling it just fine. At least you have friends to hang with when you can't be with Taylor.That has to be really hard on all three of you. The family bound you have formed will get you through but its hard to be away from her for too long. Hopefully by the time you read this post they will have smoothed things out and you can spend time with your baby girl.
As far as the internet problem is concerned I was surprised that they had such a good internet service that you were able to send so many pictures. Hopefully they will fix that as well and you can get back to the pic posting that we all so love. At least you have dial up.

Wow, 3 on 3 basketball with the locals! Fantastic! Pete and I enjoyed the pictures of Taylor with her possible professions. So funny. We also enjoyed your mountain resort trip. Thanks for posting.
Q: Why are they having inspections? Is this an annual thing? So sorry you are not able to see Taylor at this ttime.
