The last post from America!

Friends,

We depart tomorrow at 12:20pm from Detroit Metro! We will arrive in Astana, Kazakhstan on July 5th at 12:50am! We plan to update this blog as often as possible and will post as many pictures as we can.

So for our last weekend at home here is what we did: The true American Family Weekend!
Friday - we worked for the last time! It was kind of sad and joyous! Then we went to eat dinner at Hockeytown Cafe (for those of you that know me, you know I was in heaven because I live for hockey!), and then to the Detroit Tigers game. Unfortunately the Tigers lost but it was still worth going to. We drank our daiquiris and ate vendor food!
Saturday - We had a barbecue with Tony's family and had burgers and dogs! We had taco salad, tuna salad and fruit salad as sides! We then attempted to have a bonfire and watch fireworks! This was way too much fun!
Sunday - "Linner" (between lunch and dinner) with Mark, Deb, Stacey, Corrie, and Mike. We then went to see Oceans 13, which was pretty good.
Tonight- we plan to watch a movie for the last time for two months on our awesome TV and surround!

So that's that. That has been what we have done for the past few days, and we even managed to finish packing! So this is it until we have more time to post! We are not sure if we will be able to post from the airport in Istanbul, be we will try.

See you in Astana!

Hiya! I didn't see your wave from Istanbul, but I felt a nice breeze, so I'm guessing that was you. Have a great trip, and I look forward to keeping up on your news.
