Pictures!!!!

We finally have our cable modem set up, so we get to post pictures!!! Yeah!

Today is Monday, day 5 of our journey. After not being able to see Taylor yesterday, we went to the baby house and spent a couple of hours with her again this morning. We went shopping for clothes for her over the weekend, so this was the first chance we've gotten to put one of her new outfits on her. These are little milestones for us!

We were very encouraged by her progress today. She is trying so hard to crawl and to sit up on her own. She makes cute little grunts when she gets frustrated that she can't do it yet. It will happen soon. We can't wait!

Two of the adopting mothers at the baby house got to break their children free today. It was exciting to see the emotion on their faces as they were finally able to take their children with them. We are still a long way off from having that moment for ourselves, but we can't wait until the day comes. In the meantime, we are just enjoying every moment we can get with Taylor. We wish that the baby house was a little cooler (no air condiioning makes it very hot!) We can take her outside though if we want, which is nice. Today we walked around the play area for a while. Taylor really seems to be taking to us, and she loves to be held.

And yes, her ears are that big...

So as far as last evening went: All the adopting families got together at 7pm for dinner at Ali Baba. This restaurant was amazing. There were ten of us all together plus one surprise, Dana's baby! It came as a shock to all of us that Serena was free. We had dinner and chatted until about 10pm and then walked home.

We have become addicted to the TV series 24. We bought it not knowing how it would be but we have found that we want to watch more and more! Unfortunately we only bought seasons 1 and 2 but we will do without the rest. We have a ton of movies, books, etc to entertain us but they only go so far. Thank goodness you all write to us! We get so excited to read the comments!

Hey Guys:
No words can explain just how beautiful she is, and I just love the one of Tony and Taylor. We need one of Maegan and Taylor too. After everyone else is done spoiling her I hope we get a chance to do the same. I look forward to showering her with more Snoopy stuff than she can imagine.
Debbie took me from the lowest of lows yesterday to the highest of highs when she was able to find me Taylor's 1st Snoopy. I can't wait to either send it to her or give it to her in person.
Let us know if you need anything. Our thoughts and prayers are with the three of you.
Love Always,
Mark
P.S. Mom and dad save some spoiling for the rest of us. To Taylor hugs and kisses

I love the picture of her with dad. Absolutely precious. Can't wait to see more. I like how you guys set it up right at the top of the page. =).

Questions: any idea how they picked her for you? can you or do you get to ask the orphage director? how much history do they give you about her?

I cannot stop thinking about the little one.She looks like she's always ready to play and if you pictures are indictative of her moods she sure looks likes she loves you both very much. Oooohhh, what a cute little peanut baby you have!! I love those little girls! It's funny to see picture of you in the playroom, it seems so long ago when I was there with Serena and it was only a week ago! Meeting you the other night was great but I wish we got to talk more. Having a baby at the table with you can be a "little" distracting. You will know how distracting before you know it so enjoy those childless dinners while you can!!

Enjoy your stay here and I hope we can meet up before I leave, but keep in touch!
